GSXR 1100 Streetfighter - 1986 **SOLD**

My Streetfighter is now up forsale.

It's a 1986 Slabside - The original Streetfighter!

It's been stored in my garage for about 2 years now without use.

It has no Tax or MOT, although the last MOT's mileage was 27619 and now it's done 28430, so after 811 dry only miles it shouldn't need to much to get it through again.

No mirrors needed!

Tyres have lots of life.

It had a new wiring loom made just before the last MOT, it also had a new chain and fork seals before last MOT.

Windowed clutch cover, this needs slight attention as it weeps oil a little. It also has an oil leak from the sump gasket.

Polished frame and other bits, braided hoses, suicide stand, steering damper, Renthal bars, custom made seat, cone filters, the list goes on.

The bloke I bought it from told me it had had some serious engine work done, but not sure what and have no paper work to prove it, but it is an absolute animal.

I will throw in a front mudguard as the present one isn't to good, also a normal clutch cover and an Optimate 3.

Although it just needs an MOT to get it rideable on the road, it just needs a little bit of time getting it back to glory. Perhaps a project for somebody over winter.

I'm by no means desperate to sell it, and will take no less than £1000 for it.

The right indicator needs sorting, the left flashes fine, but the right front stays on and the right rear doesn't come on at all, so maybe just a bulb?

It's only done 811 dry miles since it's last MOT so I don't think it'll need anything. I would MOT it myself, but the nearest MOT station is 6 miles away in town and I don't have any other means of getting it there. I daren't ride it there as I don't have it insured and it draws a lot of attention, as it is extremely loud. Feel free to tell your mate to come and have a look.

Got the £1000 I wanted. Can't help thinking it may have gone higher now though. It had 142 watchers when I ended it.

I reckon it may well have mate, they seem to make quite good money.
Mind you at least you actually got what you wanted as watchers don't always mean much where as a sale is a sale :thumb:
